An incredibly enthusiastic couple (married- NO children)
with a lot of initiative and energy to manage or assist
in the running of a lodge/game farm or similar eco-tourism
operation.
Paul (30) is a qualified and registered FGASA field guide
with a valid Public Driving Permit and code 10 licence. He
has been taking European tourists on organised hikes and tours
throughout Southern Africa for the last year. Paul has also
completed the Drifters Intermediate Field Guide Course (achieved 85%).
Paul has management experience in both the research and restaurant
industries. I (Sharene - 28) have been responsible for the training
and development function for Hewlett-Packard SA and am very keen to use
my good organisation and communication skills in an eco-tourism
environment. I have held several public relations positions prior to
doing training and development. I have a Public Relations diploma and
a few credits to complete for a BA Communications. We have both travelled
extensively in the region, are excellent with people and accustomed to
working long hours. We both firmly believe in the enormous potential of
eco-tourism in Africa and really want to be a part of furthering it!!
With our hands-on approach, we are sure we will be an asset to your
organisation!!
